The tunnel washer SERIES ESFERA PX model 1,600 with chain conveyor is a tunnel designed for a production capacity of 1,600 units/hour. This model is equipped with two tanks and 2 pumps; the water in the wash tank is heated by direct steam injection.
From a high production capacity onward, the tunnels are fitted with a rotary filter with external solids extraction. Its pre-wash phase with cold water breaks down dirt particles, while its wash phase with hot, soapy water and its rinse with mains water ensure an optimal finish. The upper hood and the wash tank are insulated.
The hood rises automatically to allow complete access to all interior areas of the tunnel: guides, chain, spray nozzles, etc., greatly facilitating cleaning and maintenance tasks.
